CQC Datalink

The tool for Custom/QC for Windows^TM users!

CQC Datalink is a utility program designed to extract data from an ODBC database and format it for seamless integration into Stochos’ off-line SPC/SQC analysis software, Custom/QC for Windows^TM. Easy-to-use select, sort and save functionality will make configuring data to perform off-line SPC analysis a cinch!

• CQC Datalink corresponds with current ODBC configuration for easy database and table selection.
• Straightforward step-through screen design makes data extraction a simple and trouble-free task.
• Select data fields for inclusion by clicking the check box next to the individual field’s name or to include all fields click the <+All> button.

Repetitive queries are fast and easy via flexible template functionality that allows template creation during any phase of the data extraction process.

Distribution of template files to key personnel ensures consistent data selection throughout the organization.

• By default CQC Datalink determines the logical field to apply a sort order. This can be changed on the next screen by clicking the “Sort Order” button.

Users can sort fields, query data and save templates for automatic launch into Custom/QC’s mathematical spreadsheet format. All column set-up is performed in the Work with schemes window. These settings determine the specifics for final output. Functionality options include:

• Customizing of Column Header Names
• Sequence and Sort Order
• Spec Limits
• Min/Max Values
• Date/Time Criteria
• Query Parameters
• Decimal Output

Using the settings identified in the Work in schemes window, CQC Datalink creates a form for the user to enter specific query information (i.e. Part Number, Date Range). Once the appropriate data is entered, CQC Datalink will automatically create a corresponding SQL statement to query the database.

• Note: The “Save as template” button. A template file saved at this stage, will return a user to this form screen allowing entry of new criteria selection without the need to repeat the previous selection steps.

Clicking the “Get Data” button provides a preview of the selected data for one last review prior applying the “Finish” button and launching Custom/QC.

Upon selecting the “Finish” button the user will be prompted to save the extracted data as a .cqc file and given the option to immediately launch Custom/QC with the formatted data or save the file for use at a later time.

Stochos SPC Direct^TM customers will benefit by the time and effort saved through seamless transfer of data from their SQL databases to perform off-line analysis. Custom/QC^TM users can enjoy the convenience of using the CQC Datalink tool to extract data from any ODBC-based system.
