Version 3.x and below install issues

Description:

The user gets the following error message when trying to install CQC: Usage: install [ -c ] name [ install_path ] [ boot_disk]

Solution:

The user needs to type INSTALL CQC instead of just INSTALL. Also make sure they reboot the computer after they have installed the program otherwise they will get graphics errors when they try and run the program.

Version 4.x install issues

CQC version 4.x can be installed by typing <DRIVE LETTER>:INSTALL (i.e. B:INSTALL). The user does not need to be on the actual drive so long as they specify the drive that the install program resides on.

The most common problem that people have when installing CQC 4.x is that they are used to typing CQC at the DOS prompt. With version 4.x of CQC we write a batch file called QC.BAT that loads the graphics drivers and then calls CQC. As a result the user may get a CONFIG.SYS file GSSCGI.SYS not loaded - did you INSTALL this program??? (Graphics error -3003). Since we no longer install the graphics drivers in CONFIG.SYS the user must remember to type QC to start the program instead of CQC.
