Can Custom/QC be used to develop Design of Experiments? |
| Solution: |
Custom/QC has two DOE type of functions:
1. Key Variable Identification module which serves as a fact based brainstorming
assistant. It will generally isolate the three or four major variables having an
effect on the response variable.
2. Analysis of Means module which performs a complete ANOVA plus ANOM for full
factorial experiments which are run on the key variables identified above.

What is the maximum number of records that can be imported into one Custom/QC worksheet?

The maximum for one worksheet is 8192 records. |

I have saved a file, but when I try to import it into Custom/QC, I cannot find it. |
| Solution: |
Custom/QC only supports 8 character filenames. Make sure your file name does not contain any spaces
and is only 8 characters. However by default Microsoft WindowsTM will take the first six
characters in a long filename and add a ~1 after it, which can be selected. (i.e. datfil~1.txt).

How do I select the data column I would like applied to the X axis? |
| Solution: |
On the spreadsheet, highlight the data in the Y axis column.
Select Analysis and click on the chart type to run. The Analysis option
tabs will appear.
Select the Output Tab.
In the Data Label Field, select the drop down button and highlight the data column label
preference for the X axis.
Click <Apply>. |
